The next St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is scheduled for mid-June 2023. SPIEF has been held since 1997 and was canceled only in 2020 because of the pandemic

The next St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held June 14-17, according to the SPIEF website. “SPIEF is a single space of trust with equal opportunities for all subjects of economic activity in the world,” said Anton Kobyakov, adviser to the Russian president and executive secretary of the SPIEF organizing committee. SPIEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum has been held in St. Petersburg since 1997, and the President has participated in it since 2005. 

In 2020, the forum was cancelled due to the coronavirus.

In 2022, SPIEF took place. More than 14,000 people from 130 countries took part, and 81 countries sent their official representatives, according to the press service of the forum organizers. A total of 695 agreements worth 5.67 trillion rubles were signed.
